Updating manually needs to download ivdf file of 29 MB. Bt in my friends comp as internet connection is there it gets updated automatically. Is there a way to copy those updated files from the installed program and copy it to my installed avira anti virus?

In a computer w/ internet connection:
1. Go to: http://www.avira.com/en/support/vdf_update.html
2. Download the update.
3. Copy the downloaded update and save it in a media (USB flash drive, diskette, CD, etc).
In a computer w/o internet connection where you want to update avira:
4. Open Avira
5. Click Update in the menu above
6. Click Manual Update
7. Browse for the downloaded update where the file was stored (USB flash drive, diskette, CD, etc.)
